- To fight against corruption
- To avoid cases of conflict of interest
- To increase the transparency
- To increase the professionalism of local officials
- To increase the public trust for the work done by the municipality
- To avoid cases of misuse of property, working hours and office
- To avoid asking and taking bribes from the local officials, etc
