This Center helps the people who are in the third age and need to be helped, males and females. The members are chosen by giving priority those who should have more needs for the services that we offer, such as alone or poor people.
These old people live near the Artificial Lake of Tirana.
Every day they came at our center, from Monday to Friday starting at 8 o’clock in the morning till 12 o’clock at noon. This Center is inaugurated in 23-rd of October 2008, at 10 o’clock in the presence of participators, donators and local personalities.
The "White House" (at Tirana Lake Hills, 100 m above the Republic of Albania National Guard) is used for the "Daily Center for the third age" which is a very nice and comfortable place, in fresh air and relaxed for the 50 elderly people who profit from the services of this center. This Center’s aim is to improve their standards of living, expanding the knowledge related to people’s third age needs and the parties who want to help them, supporting and developing the communications skills of elderly and their integration in the surrounding community.
The Daily Center for the Third age offers a warm and family like environment, making each of them feel important. We listen to them and take into consideration their requests.
