Accessible tourism 4ALL

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights provides that “everyone has the right to freely participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts and to share in scientific advancement and its benefits”. Various countries across Europe have taken action to make culture sites, tourism and leisure activities accessible for persons with disabilities. Some measures have been very successful. Governments must identify funding to make existing cultural sites, museums, galleries, libraries, sports and concert halls accessible for persons with disabilities. Together, they can make sure that all persons with disabilities are able to access culture sites, sports, and tourism and leisure activities. 4All project is being implemented under Interreg IPA II Cross-Border Cooperation Programme “Greece-Albania 2014-2020”.
